(40) Back at work!

As you might have read last week, I recently went on holidays, in France visiting family.
Which means that I am now back at work. It was a good week for the business with no extra delays due to weather or brexit associated problem.
You might have noticed there that I did not capitalise a certain word. This is simple really, it has been toxic since this was voted and proved that this did not help at all the economy, so logically it can not deserve any capital letter!

One of the many traditional cheeses that I enjoy working for at work.
On another front, not yet I will talk about that latter really, there is a certain summit going on in Egypt. Obviously, Trump (well, there I have to capitalise as this is a family name, after all he managed to employ his own family while president whereas he did not pay taxes before…) would not recognise the validity of this summit as he denies any problem caused by big polluting business, they might even give him some money (and if they do it will be because of him, if they don’t it will not be his problem! Really, you have to give him credit to dare say things like that!).
Talking about COP27, it would be nice for the smaller countries to get some money, but…
First of all, they should not do business with any state, and company from these, which is the aggressor in a war going on at the moment. The reasoning is simple really: war creates pollution that is definitely not needed or wanted, it kills innocents (and then the European war at present have been proved that the aggressor is deliberate about killing innocent victims, not liberating anything, just trying to grab some land), and destroy the countryside and create misery as poor countries cannot feed themselves because of it.
Secondly, they should not encourage any state, or company from, that support the aggressor by buying from them, accepting money (bribes really), and even encourage the victims of aggression.
And then, they should encourage freedom and democracy within their own country. Here I find it cynical that this seems to be an American idea (freedom and democracy) but when the previous president met with a certain Russian dictator (yes he is, after all he persecutes his local opponents and restricts liberties to the majority of his citizen) he liquefied, he disappeared, whereas this said dictator had very shinny shoes all of a sudden! And then an American politician had a very racist and aggressive attitude recently when asked about the validity of mr Trump ideas… well, it seems that his idea of liberty is suited for himself but not for his neighbour, or towards him.
My last point about these countries seeking money, for retribution about pollution, is that they should aggravate their own environment.
So, all about this week is normal, a lot of work and prices going up and strikes making my journey to work on bicycle more dangerous than usual. All of this situation made me realise that a few people were changing their way of making cheese. A few products are being made with pasteurised milk now, their maker might have no more time to ensure the quality of his product. Their prices are still going up anyway, it is like banks. They were the problem and cause of the 2008 crash, remember?, and then they made people rescue them and then made central banks reduced interest to negative. This ensured that these banks did not pay interest to savers. I guess, well done and good for you, after all, nobody complained. The irony is that now that the interests are going up, they still do not pay up, or not really.
All in all, everything everywhere is complicated, but we have to keep questioning and keep our head up and ask the right questions. If you do not ask, you will never get.
And remember, enjoy proper cheese, enjoy traditional cheese, the taste of good quality cheese well made and helping the environment.
